Xbox 360 Gets A Facial

Posted by insidegaming on April 19, 2006

Let’s face it (no pun intended). Some of the faceplates available for the Xbox 360 just don’t cut it. Seriously. How many of you guys really bought the wooden plate?  Thought so.

Here’s an idea that was bound to happen. Nyko has just introduced the Gameface 360. It’s comprised of a high-grade clear polycarbonate front plate and a specially designed base plate. The idea is to take a personalized template (15 blank templates along with 5 pre-printed designs are included) and sandwich it between the two plates. Pop it onto the Xbox 360 and, Presto, you have yourself a one of a kind 360 design.

The free design software works on both Mac and PC and requires a printer capable of printing legal size (8.5"x14") paper. Once installed, you can import jpg, bmp, and gif images for some "tweaking". After playing around with the controls, print it, pop it in place, and show it off.
